Role Description

We're looking for freelance writers and copywriters to add to our bench for some upcoming client projects. This is a contract opportunity on an as-needed basis. 

The freelance writer/copywriter will be responsible for creating persuasive and engaging copy for various marketing materials, including blog posts, email newsletters, and social media copy. The copywriter will also collaborate with team members to develop and implement content strategies, conduct proofreading, and ensure effective communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop content for advertisements, marketing campaigns, blog posts, newsletters, and social.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and conceptualize innovative promotional strategies.
• Write clear, persuasive, and original copy that aligns with the company’s brand and market goals.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure it is free of errors and maintains a consistent tone and style.
• Manage multiple projects, from concept through completion, under tight deadlines.
• Conduct basic keyword research and use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach.
• Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing persuasive copy and marketing materials
• Strong communication and verbal skills
• Excellent writing and proofreading abilities
• Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in the tech industry is a plus
• Portfolio of recent work
