Role Description:

A Workplace Consultant will develop, maintain, and grow executive level relationships with key business stakeholders within their accounts. They will develop new business relationships with clients using a solutions-based and consultative sales approach. They will develop and maintain a clear account strategy that leads to achievement of specific objectives, while providing leadership for their team of Project Managers, Designers, and Project Administrators. They will promote products and services to ensure client satisfaction from execution of sale through project completion.

Day-to Day Responsibilities:

A Workplace Consultant will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by delivering products and services to new accounts. Responsibilities include:

Prospecting: Utilizing a hunter mentality to identify new opportunities through relationship building and networking within the corporate office and real estate communities.

Relationship Building: Cultivating strong relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, and other key stakeholders to influence specifications and product selection.

Consultative Selling: Highlighting Franklin’s Integrated portfolio of products by working with clients to identify possible furniture, flooring, and architectural needs. Leading the process by collaborating with internal architectural and flooring teams to expand product offerings and services.

Sales Cycle Management: From initial contact to post-sale support, managing the entire sales cycle, ensuring smooth order placement, delivery, installation, and billing processes.

Business Development: Developing and executing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share, while continuously seeking out new business opportunities.

Professional Networking: Participating in networking events and industry gatherings to enhance visibility and broaden the professional network.

What We’re Looking For:

Relevant Industry Experience: The ideal candidate would have experience in an Interior Design or Sales Role, with a proven track record of participating in successful projects within the commercial interiors space.

Drive and Initiative: A passion for winning is a must. This candidate must possess a service-oriented personality, with a natural inclination to chase and close new business opportunities.

Autonomy and Collaboration: Ability to work independently without supervision, while also collaborating effectively with internal teams and clients to achieve common goals.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with the capacity to negotiate and navigate complex sales scenarios.

Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required, along with excellent communication skills.
