Job Description

The Workforce Development Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing workforce development opportunities through data-driven insights and strategic planning. They will concentrate on the growth, education, and skill enhancement of employees at current and future partner locations. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will work closely with HR, finance, and operations teams to forecast workforce needs, analyze workforce data, and develop strategies to ensure we have the right people in the right roles at the right time. This role is customer-facing and works with internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain workforce metrics, dashboards, and reports.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within multiple systems of record.
  • Provide actionable insights to workforce partners and management teams.
  • Monitor workforce supply and demand metrics and provide recommendations to address imbalances.
  • Monitor and report on the impact of higher education trends on workforce supply.

CRM Administration:

  • Manage and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Analyze CRM data to identify trends and opportunities for engagement and outreach.
  • Develop and generate CRM reports to support business development and stakeholder engagement efforts.
  • Provide training and support to staff on CRM best practices and usage.

Workforce Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with partner’s human resources and management teams to understand workforce needs.
  • Use statistical models and tools to forecast workforce requirements.
  • Analyze data from colleges to forecast the supply of healthcare professionals entering the workforce.
  • Collaborate with colleges to understand trends in healthcare education and training programs.
  • Provide insights on the alignment between educational outputs and industry needs.
  • Develop long-term and short-term workforce plans.

Strategic Planning:

  • Support the development of workforce strategies aligned with the partner’s goals.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of workforce planning processes.
  • Support succession planning and assessing the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Evaluate the impact of workforce changes and provide recommendations

Market Research and Business Development:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research across the United States to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the healthcare sector.
  • Analyze market data to support business development strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support the growth and development of healthcare services.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work with HR, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on workforce plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospital partners to facilitate data sharing and collaboration.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to create clear and impactful data visualizations.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workforce planning meetings and workshops.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in workforce planning.
  • Provide insights on the alignment between educational outputs and industry needs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workforce planning efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, workforce planning, market research, higher education data analytics, CRM administration, or a related field within the healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning and HR systems is plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, education, workforce challenges, and market dynamics.
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, LSQ, Salesforce) and data management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with higher education data and understanding of healthcare education pathways.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python).
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in market research and business development within the healthcare sector.
