Windows System Administrator

Position: Systems Administrator 1

Length: 6 moths contract-to-hire

Interview: 1st round - MS Teams Video Interview; 2nd Round – In person Face to face interview

Location: Atlanta, GA

Shift: Hybrid w/2 days on site

Job Description:

Client is looking for System Administrator 1. The junior-level administrator will perform assigned maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Windows 2016, 2019 and 2022 Server Operating Systems. Additionally, the System Administrator will assist with management of various applications including Enterprise Antivirus/Anti-Malware, HP SIM, WSUS and Microsoft SharePoint as assigned by a Senior System Administrator.

Minimum qualifications

Experience with the following:

• Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems
• Server Hardware
• Problem identification and resolution
• Trouble/Change Ticket system
• System monitoring and alert management
• Microsoft patching and server firmware updates
• Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Creating and maintaining related documentation of system/application installation, upgrades, and maintenance processes
• Storage RAID configurations
• Vendor contact if required to resolve technical issues
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field Or Associate degree in a related field and two years of related experience Or Four years of related experience

Preferred Qualification

• Microsoft Technical Certification(s)
• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or related field)
• Microsoft 2019 and/or 2022 Server experience
• Exposure to PowerShell scripting
• Rack mount and cable servers
