We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Install, set up, and maintain Windows server operating systems and associated software.
- Monitor server performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Execute system upgrades and patches while ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and fix server-related problems, encompassing both hardware and software failures.
- Establish and manage server backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to seamlessly integrate server systems with other infrastructure components.
- Aid in designing and implementing enhancements and improvements to server infrastructure.
- Develop and update documentation for server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and fellow IT staff as required.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Windows server administration.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in Windows server administration, covering installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Solid grasp of server hardware, operating systems, and networking principles.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation purposes.
- Knowledge of server monitoring and management tools like Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) is beneficial.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve server-related issues.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Dedication to ongoing learning and professional development.
