Insight Global is looking for an experienced Wholesale Manager to join a large direct-to-consumer and wholesale company sitting remote (in EST time zone). In this role, the Wholesale Manager will lead the domestic and international expansion of the company's wholesale business, developing strategies to drive sales, profitability and brand equity in a meaningful
and locally relevant way for each business. This individual will also manage a salesperson and help oversee and enforce their productivity.
The main responsibility of the Wholesale Manager lies in gathering cross-functional teams within the company to put in common the timelines, strategies and objectives from every single team from Operations to Marketing to Brand and beyond. This manager will be expected to develop new processes and procedures, as well as manage different projects together with internal and external teams.
The key teams this individual will liaise with are Operations, IT, and Marketing, Legal/Finance, and External Parties with a focus on the below:
Operations: creating inventory management structures, new market launch operations support, production support, project management organization
IT: crossfunctional coordination of technical deployment projects, product catalogue maintenance, EDI documentation
Marketing: ensure crossfunctional team alignment, timeline management, training programs for new merchandisers
Legal/Finance: deep wholesaler agreement understanding, negotiation support, commercial conversations
External Parties: serve as the bridge between the client and internal company, EDI support when inking contracts, commercial relationship management of wholesalers
This is a full-time, permanent position with compensation starting at $90k/year DOE and option to elect in benefits.
Required skills and experience:
8+ years of experience in the direct-to-consumer and wholesale industry
5+ years of project management experience with a focus on organization, time and materials, and documentation
