The Opportunity:

Puig is seeking a West Coast District Manager to provide support to our Byredo, West Coast Store Managers/Directors. This individual will be responsible for store level performance, acting as a conduit between head office & retail stores to ensure doors are supported and objectives from global/head office are met. The Byredo, West Coast District Manager will be responsible for driving business in partnership with the store team.


What you will get to do:

People:

  • Lead, motivate, empower, recognize, & inspire district retail teams to perform at or above expectations, aligning with overall retail strategy.
  • Support direct reports in growth & development, creating development plans, providing learning opportunities, etc.
  • Partner with individual Store Managers/Directors to recruit, train, performance manage, & retain talent.
  • Partner with Marketing & necessary Head Office teams to align on product launch strategies, eventing, gratis, & training.
  • Direct recruiting and oversee staffing for all open store positions. Ensure that all recruits meet the company standards in terms of skills, experience and qualifications.
  • Provide leadership and share the company vision to motivate and retain staff.

Sales:

  • Set & manage team strategy & metrics including KPIs per door, overall sales goals, P&L, etc adjusting as needed with support of Senior Director of Retail.
  • Proactive implements solutions to increase sales within area focus.
  • Support Ambassadors & Store Managers/Directors in training & execution of Byredo Selling Ceremony, clienteling, & other sales standards to achieve targets & goals.

Operations:

  • Oversee Store Managers/Directors in providing reporting & analysis by door, collating data into overarching Coast performance reports.
  • Manage operational execution & ensure brand policies, standards & expectations are met.
  • Manage new store opening process in partnership with Head Office teams including staffing, marketing, IT, etc.
  • Oversee & support store management in all stock management & shrinkage related processes. providing updates and communicating with Head Office as required.
  • Ensure that training initiatives are effectively designed and implemented.
  • Ensure all doors are compliant with company policies and procedures.


We’d love to meet you if you have:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience managing multiple retail locations, demonstrating a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence.
  • Expertise in driving overall sales through comprehensive reporting, detailed analysis, and strategic initiatives. Ability to identify trends, develop actionable insights, and implement effective solutions to achieve sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify key metrics, and make informed decisions to enhance business performance.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ensuring efficient store operations, inventory management, and adherence to company standards and policies.
  • Ability to work autonomously, taking initiative and demonstrating strong leadership skills to manage and motivate teams across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting, and the ability to create compelling presentations to communicate findings and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and driving continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% and operate your own vehicle.


Compensation:

As required by the California State transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position is between $120,000-$130,000 annually. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
