Job Description: We are seeking an experienced website content writer with a strong background in medical terminology to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will create high-quality, informative, and engaging content for our website, focusing on medical billing, coding, and credentialing topics.
Responsibilities:
Research and write high-quality website content on medical billing and credentialing topics.
Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and adheres to our editorial guidelines.
Collaborate with our team to develop content strategies and topics.
Optimize content for SEO to increase web traffic and engagement.
Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Stay up-to-date with the latest medical billing and credentialing trends.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a content writer, preferably in the medical field.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Familiarity with SEO best practices.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong research skills and attention to detail.
Master's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. A background in a medical field is a plus. (PhD is a plus)
Compensation:
Hourly rate: $22.55 to $55.38, depending on experience and qualifications.
