Description: PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Designer to join our dynamic teamThe ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that effectively communicate our brand message and engage our target audience. The Web Designer will work closely with our marketing and development teams to translate project requirements into compelling design solutions.
Location: Carlisle Barracks Pennsylvania
Required Clearance: Secret
Required Education: HSD or GED, relevant Web application certifications, IAT 1
Required Experience: Three+ (3+) years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement the visual aesthetics, user interface, and overall branding of the USAWC website(s)
Ensure seamless user experiences with an emphasis on visual appeal and ease of navigation
Design and create visually appealing website layouts, graphics, and user interfaces
Ensure that website designs are responsive, mobile-friendly, and accessible across different devices and browsers
Create custom graphics, icons, and illustrations to enhance website visual appeal and branding
Select and edit high-quality images and multimedia content for use on web pages
Requirements:
Maintain consistency in design elements and branding guidelines across all digital assets
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve website usability and user experience
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design to incorporate innovative design concepts and techniques
Work closely with content creators to integrate text, images, videos, and other multimedia content into website designs
Ensure that content is effectively organized and presented to enhance user engagement and conversion rates
Optimize web graphics and multimedia assets for fast loading times and optimal performance
Preferred Qualifications: Assoc or Tech degree preferred (not required)
