Location: Birmingham, AL 35243

Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Create webpages and maintain them on both internal (SharePoint) and external (HTML) platforms
  • Create graphics for a variety of projects - posters, brochures, webpages, invitations, etc.
  • Assist with events for Safety, Labor, and Workforce Development as needed including behind the scenes and day of logistics, etc.
  • Create communications of all types including planned and pop up with short deadlines
  • Assist with projects for entities'/boards we are involved in that may not be directly tied to Alabama Power Skills Required
  • Webpage design experience required (bring examples of portfolio to interview)
  • Graphics experience required (bring examples of portfolio to interview)

Organizational Skills

  • we work on a variety of projects simultaneously for both internal and external customers, must be organized - Communication Skills
  • Must be clear and concise with written and spoken word
  • Transparent when not sure how to do something or have a question
  • Time management skills important
  • Team mindset - we all pitch in to get the job done whatever the task may be
