COMPANY INFO:

Genesis Systems, Inc. and related entities are a business group that provides Information Technology Services (software development, support, hosting, etc.), CPA services, and other diverse activities. Operating nationally and internationally, the group has been in existence for over 35 years and continues to expand its operations.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Web Designer position is for website design, graphic design, and developing and implementing websites along with supporting and updating the sites/media and content as needed. The position also involves creativity with creating print and other media designs and development as well as interfacing with other project team members to assure compliance with internal or customers’ needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to design customer UX/UI, develop websites, and build out custom designed websites using open-source CMS, HTML5, CSS, and the latest web technologies
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong design skills for web, print, and other media (signs, banners, logos, brochures, etc.)
• Working knowledge of SEO/SEM and social media
• Familiar with Team Foundation Server and .NET applications is a plus
• Possess the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong sense of team collaboration
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at one time
• Ability to work with resources across multiple time zones
• Must have a current valid drivers license and be able to pass a background check and drug test
  
  

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Web Design, Digital Graphic Design, or equivalent (or working towards one of these degrees)
• 2+ years of website design experience
