Job Title: Web Designer

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
  • Design web page layouts, graphics, and user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with developers and marketing teams to ensure the design aligns with project goals and brand guidelines.
  • Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
  • Create and maintain design documentation and style guides.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, or Figma.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with responsive design and optimizing websites for various devices and screen sizes.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles and practices.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of animation and interactive design using tools such as Adobe After Effects or Lottie.
