Wealth Advisor, Investment Specialist

Centura Wealth Advisory is seeking a Wealth Advisor, Investments to provide expertise on investment management services for new and existing clients while maintaining relationships with personally sourced and established clients. As the Investment Specialist, you are at the forefront of client satisfaction through achieving client’s financial goals by maximizing investment portfolio performance and thereby growing existing AUM and winning new AUM mandates.

Roles And Responsibilities

The key areas of responsibility include:

  • Act as the Consulting team subject matter expert on client investments, public markets, and internal portfolio holdings to maintain and grow AUM.
  • Contribute to team Assets Under Management “AUM” goals through making data-backed investment recommendations to existing clients as well as new opportunities.
  • Ownership and management of personal loyal client base.
  • Analyze current & prospective client’s investment portfolios, identifying gaps, and providing investment solutions and recommendations
  • Manage & own the team’s portfolio proposal process to include creation of portfolio proposals and supporting client deliverables. Pitch and present proposed solutions to clients
  • Responsible for implementation of client proposals once approved and steward through the investment management process and life cycle.
  • Manage opportunity processed within company CRM and technology systems. Own the identification and opportunity creation of new investment offers and appropriate/suitable clients for new opportunities. Prepare and present investment offerings to clients and prospects in conjunction with the Investment Department.
  • Leverages technology, team, and process to achieve the sales results for the team.
  • Builds and maintains his/her/team/firm reputation within community as professional, cutting-edge, and sought-after organization for HNW and UHNW individuals and families.

  • Effectively engages clients and builds trust through delivering a strong value proposition
  • Maintain strong interpersonal relationship skills with both internal employees/teammates and external clients.
  • Familiarity, and in some cases, expertise in Centura’s planning strategies for UHNW clients and the understanding of how investment solutions integrate into various tax planning strategies
  • Helps achieve team and personal annual plan for new business goals, and tracks/monitors progress towards achieving the goal.
  • Follows Centura processes for managing sales pipeline in Salesforce, and working within a team of aligned professionals.
  • Stays abreast of significant changes or developments (e.g. taxation, regulatory, legal, competitive, and technical) within the fields of investments and financial services; seeks to learn and find new strategies that can benefit his/her clients, as well as other firm clients.
  • Both presentation and writing skills will be essential.

Licensing & Education

  • Undergraduate degree – Required
  • Series 65/6- Required
  • Certified Financial Planner “CFP” or CFA designation – Preferred
  • CA Life Insurance License- Preferred

Experience

  • 8+ Years financial advisory, investment management experience
  • Proficient with the following software programs
    • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.) – Required
    • Orion - Highly Preferred
    • Salesforce – Preferred
    • Brokerage Trading and Account Interfaces (EX: Schwab Advisor Center, Fusion, etc.)
    • Market Databases and Analytics (EX: Hidden Levers, Right Capital, Ycharts, Pitchbook) etc.)
