H 2 O Innovation is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Gulfport, MS as a Water & Wastewater Operator in Training . Our next colleague will hold a permanent & full-time position. You will have a hands-on experience in water & wastewater treatment operations under the guidance of experienced professionals.
The day-to-day
Support the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities, managing pumps, motors, blowers, and chemical feed systems;
Monitor process controls and equipment performance to uphold regulatory compliance and operational standards;
Conduct routine sampling and laboratory analysis to evaluate water quality parameters;
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance activities to enhance plant performance and prevent equipment breakdowns;
Engage in training programs and educational opportunities to enhance technical skills and understanding of wastewater treatment processes.
The Skills We Are Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in water/wastewater treatment are advantageous;
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and eagerness to acquire technical skills pertaining to wastewater treatment equipment and systems;
Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities to foster effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors;
Capacity to perform in physically demanding environments and adapt to evolving work conditions;
Dedication to prioritizing safety and environmental responsibility in all job-related activities;
Preference given to candidates holding Water & Wastewater licenses.
