Water Treatment Chemical Site Manager

A progressive international water treatment company is looking for an experienced water treatment chemical sales representative for sales and service of water treatment chemicals (and associated equipment) in their Longview, TX territory. Rep will take over an existing territory and focus on new and existing customers in the large industrial accounts. Job will focus on boiler, cooling tower and waste water chemical and mechanical applications within large plants in the area. Plenty of time for new business development Previous high pressure boiler experience would be ideal.

. Specific responsibilities will include:

1. Day to day management of existing assigned accounts
2. Development of new sales through cold calling and networking
3. Maintain effective communications with client and company management
4. Maintain industry knowledge through training and online programs
5. Management of technical support team, when assigned.

Company offers a base salary of 90-120K plus guaranteed first year bonus , excellent commission plan, company car, expenses, home based office (cell phone/laptop) and comprehensive benefits package.

Company is looking for someone with the following qualifications:

1. 4 year degree in a technical field highly desired but will consider industry experience in lieu of education
2. At least 4 years of direct industrial water treatment chemical experience
3. Previous experience in large industrial accounts (paper, steel, petrochemicals, refining, etc.)
4. Previous work with high pressure boilers highly desired.
5. Previous sales experience highly desired
6. Ability to work well with little supervision
7. Strong mechanical aptitude
8. Effective communication skills, both oral and written
9. Ability to write intelligent technical reports in a timely fashion
10. Highly motivated for sales.
