The successful candidate will focus on drainage projects within the transportation sector, ensuring the effective management and design of drainage systems for roadways, highways, and other transportation infrastructure. This role is crucial to ensuring sustainable and efficient water management solutions that enhance the safety and longevity of transportation projects.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources engineering, with a focus on drainage and stormwater management.
Experience with transportation projects or DOTs is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
Strong understanding of drainage design principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
