Water and Sewer Heavy Equipment Operator

MEMCO Solutions is Hiring! We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator in Peachtree City, GA!

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with at least 3 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating a variety of heavy machinery used in construction, excavation, and other industrial projects. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

• Schedule: 1st shift; Monday-Friday 8+hr days
• Pay: Based on Experience $26-$30/hr
• Full-Time and Project-Based Opportunity

Responsibilities:

• MUST HAVE PREVIOUSLY WORKED IN WATER AND SEWER UTILITY EQUIPMENT
• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders to perform tasks including excavation, grading, and site preparation.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment operation as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting.
• Valid heavy equipment operator’s license or certification.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
