Removes the excess waste material around or between the die cut cartons by performing the folowing duties.
The successful candidate will work a continential shift from 6 AM - 6 PM.
Sweeps and picks up all waste materials around the stripping area and baler machinery.
Separates the different grades of waste board stock and feeds into auger when needed.
Must be capable of keeping accurate records, including the completion of all required forms; and the accurate use of different measuring devices including tape measures, and all other applicable gauges for your responsibilities.
Bands fuel skid loads.
Operates a pneumatic hammer to separate waste from cartons.
Pulls off existing waste around or between cartons.
Ensures that cartons with different print are not mixed together.
Identifies and removes print and cutting faults or any other quality deficiencies.
Carries stacks of cartons to place on pallets.
Keeps different substrates separate for recycling.
High school diploma or equivalent training experience.
Ability to read and interpret information, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
