Summary/Objective

As a Warranty Specialist, you will handle dealer relations and customer service by researching all inquiries by OEMs, dealers, and retail customers.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Answer all warranty and personal emails promptly. Pushing 24 hour deadline is not acceptable.
  • Respond to all voicemails the same business day.
  • Conduct daily follow-up emails.
  • Time management is essential.
  • Observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company;
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout designated areas

Working Conditions

  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  • May sit for several hours at a time.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Computer proficiency in computer programs like Excel spreadsheets and Word documents.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibility upon hire.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly talk and listen. This position is not very active when it comes to movement and requires a lot of typing and sitting in a chair.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full-time salary position and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Travel

Travel for this role is minimal and will be in the local area.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office - (Word, Excel)
  • Previous customer service experience

  • Must be able to work as part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals
  • Must demonstrate and maintain clear verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to operate appropriate office equipment including phones, copiers, personal computers, etc.;
  • Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc;
  • Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations
  • Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day.
  • Must have excellent time management skills.
