We are seeking a Field Warranty Admin to join our busy Service department! Successful candidates will have mechanical aptitude, great customer service skills and a willingness to learn our business.

$20.00 - $25.00 Depends on experience

Responsibilities

  • Process all claims in a timely manner following RO submission date
  • Handle and resolve all claim corrections and charge-backs
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the manufacturer's designated warranty representatives
  • Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility according to the policies and procedures
  • Analyze problems, identify trends, and develop strategies for maximizing claim process
  • Check each repair order against the unit service history to avoid duplicate claims
  • Provide a weekly report to the service manager regarding claim status
  • Report any fraudulent manipulation of warranty claims
  • Conduct weekly audits of warranty and schedules, reviewing all old claims, and address any adjustments or write-offs
  • Assist service consultants in closing all open warranty RO's
  • Assist service consultants and technicians with any warranty questions
  • Assist with special projects, audits, and reports as requested
  • Review and manage all aging schedules and reports
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as safety requirements, hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
  • Attend warranty training courses as needed
  • Always operate in and maintain a safe work environment; obey safety rules and wear required safety PPE.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Positive outlook and excellent communication, both verbally and in writing
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Excel in a high volume fast paced environment
  • Good computer and systems knowledge
  • Creative problem solver
  • Two years of experience in a compact equipment service department a plus, but not required
  • General knowledge of diesel and hydraulic parts and mechanical operations preferred
  • Strong research skills, ability to obtain information with minimal guidance

Must be able to pass a drug screen

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds or pushing/puling small objects
  • Sits most of the time
  • Infrequent to occasional walking or standing
  • Physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines which include a computer, printer, facsimile machine, copy machine, calculator, telephone, scanners etc. on repetitive basis.
