Warehouse Supervisor

Sanhua is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Gluckstadt, MS. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, and shipping. This role involves managing inventory levels, ensuring efficient and accurate storage, picking, and delivery of goods. The supervisor will also train and evaluate warehouse employees, assign workloads, and ensure the security of the warehouse, while keeping the warehouse clean and safe at all times.

The ideal candidate has experience working in an environment that can be cold and hot during different seasons. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while fulfilling orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Warehouse Staff: Manage warehouse associates, monitor their work, and ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment
• Lead by Example: Ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed
• Establish Practices and Protocols: Develop and implement warehouse practices to achieve operational efficiency
• Monitor and Train: Evaluate workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee skills
• Set Goals: Collaborate with executive management and team leads to set warehouse and team objectives
• Ensure Safety Compliance: Stay updated on federal and state safety regulations
• Cross-Department Communication: Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely product shipping
• Maintain Operational Efficiency: Ensure the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations
• Report Performance: Measure and report KPIs and operational metrics to the Warehouse Manager on a weekly basis.
  
  

Requirements:

• A Bachelors Degree in Logistics or 5+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse environment
• Prior experience working with WMS is preferred
• Prior knowledge of warehouse paperwork and experience counting inventory and orders is preferred
• Experience operating a forklift
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional, cross-cultural teams
