Companies that sell on-line, place their merchandise into retail stores or support a large sales force or dealer/distributor network store their merchandise at FSI and we distribute their merchandise to market on an order by order basis. FSI also manages large kit assembly projects to support marketing and event promotions/campaigns.

Warehouse Supervisor

Fulfillment Strategies International (FSI), an award winning provider of product fulfillment and distribution services is seeking an organized, motivated, reliable, detail and service-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. In this position, you will monitor warehouse inventory as well as manage warehouse staff to ensure that products are stored and shipped out in an accurate, efficient manner. Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor is required.

Warehouse Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics
• Supervise and direct staff; put worker safety as a top priority
• Track and account for products
• Supervise all forklift operations
• Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed and a clean and tidy works pace is kept at all times
• Maintain documentation, manifests, and receipts; enter relevant data in reports as needed
• Ensure that materials match packing lists before dispatching orders
• Assist in the hiring and training process of new warehouse staff
• Ensure proper transport, packaging, and placement of products
• Motivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasks
• Abide by and enforce facility rules and state laws and regulations
• Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient fulfillment system
  
  

Warehouse Supervisor Requirements And Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years previous supervisory experience in a warehouse position
• Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
• Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery safely according to company protocol
• Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and UPS and Fed Ex systems
• Physical stamina, able to work long hours on one’s feet and lift 50+ pounds
• Excellent organization and efficient time-management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
