We are seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician Assistant/Helper to join our team!

You will be assisting the Head Maintenance Technician, helping maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery. This is a temp-to-hire position with weekly pay.

Full-Time

Weekly Pay-! $30-$35 per hour, with raise and full paid benefits after probation period!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with repairing, installing and adjusting industrial machinery
  • Experience with Peddinghaus CNC machines, lasers, and shears preferred.
  • Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment including CNC Machinery, Presses, Plasma Cutters, etc.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC machine repairs.
  • Change motors, Check circuit board hydraulics.
  • Gather and maintain a complete set of required tools, including calipers, dial indicators, electrical meters, and other diagnostic and measurement devices.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to define problem areas and assist with resolution.
  • Utilize measurement devices to hold print tolerances and industry standards while performing machine repairs and assembly
  • Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve operational uptime and equipment life.
  • Recommend improvements and/or changes to PM systems/tasks when applicable
  • Follow standard practices and all governmental regulations and laws relating to powered equipment
  • Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience doing maintenance on industrial equipment as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems, preferred but not required.
  • Must have some knowledge of electrical/ electronic circuitry( Compter to 480VAC)
  • Ability to understand and interpret electrical/electronic schematics and manuals
  • Previous repairs of various CNC controlled equipment required
  • Must have an understanding of basic test equipment and PLC logic systems
  • Must have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC, and overall machine troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
