Warehouse Operations Manager

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with our global 3PL distribution client to hire a WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER to join their team at their brand new facility in Savannah, GA.

• Bilingual in Spanish - highly preferred.

As a Warehouse Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of our organization.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency, driving process improvement, and contributing to the overall success of our company.

Warehouse Operations Manager Responsibilities:

· Communicate effectively with warehouse employees to ensure smooth operations.

· Coordinate with the headquarter management team to align operations with overall company strategies.

· Daily communication with the overseas department regarding inbound and outbound shipment issues.

· Regularly report warehouse/operation progress to the director.

· Develop operational strategies and plans in line with company goals and objectives.

· Analyze operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to streamline operations, increase productivity, and reduce costs.

· Manage budgets and expenses related to operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.

· Recruit, train, and manage a team of operational staff, setting performance targets and providing guidance and support.

· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards, implementing appropriate control measures and conducting audits.

· Oversee supply chain management, including procurement, inventory, and distribution processes.

· Act as a liaison between different departments, facilitating effective communication, collaboration, and coordination.

· Identify and assess potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

· Stay updated with industry trends and developments, recommending innovative solutions or technologies to improve operations.

Warehouse Operations Manager Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field

· 3 years of experience in operations management or a similar role.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.

· Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating teams.

· In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices.

· Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for operations management.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

· Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

· Strong communication skills, with a willingness to communicate daily with our overseas department.
