Warehouse Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a food and beverage manufacturing and distribution company in Portland, OR on a Warehouse Manager job. You have experience overseeing multiple warehouses across multiple locations. You know about food safety, strict quality control measures and have managed perishable goods on a large scale. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of multiple warehouse facilities, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of perishable goods.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to safeguard the integrity and freshness of perishable products throughout the supply chain.
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock movements across all sites.
• Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to food safety, occupational health, and warehouse operations.
• Optimize warehouse operations to minimize costs while maximizing efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate closely with logistics and customer service teams to meet customer expectations for on-time delivery and product quality.
• Identify and implement warehouse management systems (WMS) and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management within the food and beverage industry
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse setting

Skills:

• Strong understanding of food safety manufacturing, storage, and transportation
• Strong ERP and/or WMS skills; Excel skills

About the role:

• Full Time, Direct Hire
• Mon – Fri; 8a-5p
• Primarily on site role with some scheduling flexibility
• Comp / Benefits – 90-120K DOE; company performance bonus potential, employer/employee supported medical, dental and vision plans, paid time off, and 401k with company match
