Warehouse Manager

Anakeesta is seeking a Warehouse Manager who is results driven and can effectively lead a team of Receivers and Associates in an organized and efficient warehouse. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of shipping and receiving and establishing Warehouse practices and protocols. This position reports to the Director of Retail and is located in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Manage all delivery accounts: FedEx, UPS, etc.
• Be the liaison between transport companies and suppliers
• Manage all aspects of warehouse organization
• Responsible for safety and equipment training
• Create and monitor work routes for delivery driver staff
• Work any warehouse position as needed
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are picked up, distributed, shipped, or received in a timely manner
• Work with department heads to ensure items are inventoried effectively
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training of team
• Set goals and collaborate with team members and other departments
• Setup layout for efficient space utilization across warehouse
• Manage warehouse associates, monitor work and ensure safe use of equipment
• Lead and maintain inventory and tracking on all retail and non-retail related inventory
• Lead development project storage and receiving logs
• Responsible for Warehouse cleanliness, organization, safety
• Responsible for buildings maintenance requests
• Source, implement, and maintain Inventory management system.
• Maintain inventory levels and fulfill requests of identified operational needs (i.e. photo operation supplies, retail bags, store supplies, receipts)
• Create, maintain and enforce operational policies in accordance with Anakeesta’s established policies
• Assist with inventory of all Anakeesta property as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred
• 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
• Strong leadership skills and problem-solving abilities
• Obtain proactive thinking skills
• Proficiency in warehouse management software
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to climb ladders of heights up to 12 feet
• Can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, and sit for periods of time at a computer
• Must be able to push/pull/manipulate a rolling pallet jack with weights up to 1200 pounds
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, 90 pounds with assistance
• Must be able to work indoors with or without A/C and outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
• Must be certified to operate a forklift, box truck, UTV, and other equipment/vehicles
