Position Overview:

Responsible for all Receiving and Shipping functions. Reports to the Director of Operations. This opening is for DAY SHIFT, which operates 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Job Function:

  • Supervise all functions of a busy warehouse including the management of inbound and outbound product shipments, inventory control, and day to day workflow
  • Hire, train, schedule and motivate warehouse personnel
  • Create, use and analyze metrics to evaluate both the performance of warehouse personnel and the effectiveness of warehouse processes
  • Act as a liaison between the Warehouse and other departments, including Customer Service and Purchasing
  • Resolve shipping issues and inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing Company standards and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

  • Must possess an understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Familiar with all Microsoft programs is a plus
  • Familiar with UPS, FedEx, and International shipments
  • Familiar with International tariffs a plus
  • Positive attitude
