Warehouse Lead

Position Summary:

Leads Warehouse team to ensure all incoming inventory/orders are processed timely; and ensure all daily requirements are being met. Will also provide backup for manager requested time off.

Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

• Will oversee entire receiving process of all incoming inventory and PO’s which consists of LTL, ground parcels and international containers
• Instructs a team of 5-7 members of all daily duties
• Ensures orders are audited prior to entering production and on time with the production schedule.
• Ensures all orders are completed in full by monitoring the progress of additional warehouse crew.
• Assists in managing all daily receiving and picking functions.
• Performs daily cycle counts on inventory
• Oversees the receipt of inbound containers.
• Assists in overseeing fulfillment area.
• Responsible for inventory accuracy
• Will need to respond to emails and requests from OPS team and sales each day
• Disperses all emergency orders (red tag orders) that are needed by production.
• Other tasks as required.
• Complying with all uniform and appearance guidelines.
• Ensures compliance to quality, cleanliness, 6S, and OSHA programs; assures conformity to all company and customer
  
  
  

Working Conditions/Environment:

Works primarily in a warehouse environment where the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 75 lbs. regularly, walk, reach, grasp and bend while moving about their workstation and facility. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. The employee may periodically be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors, or dust. All required PPE must be worn at all times while in the warehouse environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

Qualification Requirements:

• 1-3 years previous warehouse experience.
• Pervious management experience a plus
• Must have tow motor experience (sit down, stand up/reach truck, swing reach)
• Must have RF scanner experience
• Inventory background is a plus
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Computer Aptitude with Microsoft office 365, and NetSuite a plus.
