Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM; hours may vary depending on business needs

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate provides a wide range of warehouse functions, including anything from making boxes to loading boxes to delivering those boxes, and everything in between within the warehouse.

Essential Functions:

• Assists Warehouse Manager in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses annually
• Drives vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites
• Loads delivery vehicles for the purpose of ensuring that all items and supplies are properly secured
• Maintains and cleans warehouse facilities as assigned for the purpose of keeping them in orderly, clean and safe condition
• Maintains various files and records for the purpose of documenting activities, and providing materials and reliable resource information
• Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements
• Receives stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct and/or inspecting items for damage
• Assists Warehouse Manager in inquiries of staff and vendors for the purpose of providing information and/or direction regarding the status of deliveries, and/or reporting discrepancies to appropriate personnel
• Stocks equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining required inventory levels
• Unloads items for the purpose of distributing shipment to assigned site locations and/or individuals

• Ability to build relationships with team members and vendors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skills
• Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Self-motivated and can work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Team player and positive attitude while interacting with co-workers and management
• A valid driver’s license and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Check and DOT physical as needed
• At least 21 years old
  
  

Physical Demands: The Warehouse Associate position requires physical activities, such as standing, walking, bending and regularly lifting up to 80 lbs.
