Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented warehouse associate to join our team. In this role, you will maintain precise records, track incoming and outgoing shipments to exact inventory counts, and accurately fill orders. Our ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced environment and has some knowledge of inventory management, computer-based shipping, and receiving. This is a 1st shift position. The hours for this position are 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Track incoming shipments, verify quantities to shipping documents, and accurately record shipment information
• Report shipment discrepancies and issues to the Customer Service Manager
• Use inventory to fill orders, safely package materials for shipping, and update the system to reflect outgoing inventory
• Utilize third-party logistics software to generate shipments
• Appropriately store materials in the correct locations
• Perform inventory counts, identify and record discrepancies
• Work with internal departments to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Comply with all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in warehousing, shipping, or receiving preferred
• Strong organization skills and detail-orientated
• Comfortable using a variety of software programs, including Word and Excel
• Understanding inventory management is desirable
• Valid driver's license
• Able to work with little to no supervision to complete assigned tasks
• Good written and oral communication skills and excellent organizational skills
• Can stand, walk, and move for extended periods
• Successfully pass the required pre-employment background check and drug screen
  
  

Pay rate: $18.00 per hour
