Our retail client is looking to bring on a full-time Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join their team. This role is 5-days onsite at their Eugene, OR location.

This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and effective logistics management to support our growing business needs.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
Develop and implement warehouse procedures and protocols to ensure smooth workflow and optimize efficiency.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
Logistics Management:
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, and customs clearance.
Negotiate rates and contracts with logistics providers (freight forwarders, carriers, etc.) to achieve cost-effective shipping solutions.
Monitor shipment schedules and track deliveries to ensure timely and accurate distribution of products.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.
Provide coaching and support to develop team members' skills and knowledge.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards before shipment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse operations.
Address any issues or discrepancies related to inventory or shipments promptly and effectively.
Process Improvement and Efficiency:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within warehouse and logistics operations.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in warehouse management and logistics operations, preferably in the retail, fashion, or luxury goods industry.
Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and logistics software.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
Solid understanding of shipping and customs regulations, international trade, and supply chain logistics.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with sustainability practices and initiatives in logistics and warehouse operations.
