Summary
The Warehouse Admin acts assists with the transportation and logistics of incoming and outgoing materials. This position will be responsible for scheduling logistics companies for pickups and deliveries, document control, data entry, building rapport with logistics companies, sales order, entry, ensuring proper schedule adherence of appointment times, etc. This position will also provide support to the overall Supply Chain Department as needed.

Responsibilities And Duties
Ability to maneuver in varying environments, including extended time in the Freezer or the Cold Dock. Freezer temperatures can range from -10 to 15 degrees
Schedule and expedite the movement of product by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders
Schedule delivery of raw material from storage warehouse or loaded storage facilities
Interface with Logistics Companies, Customs Brokers, DOT, Transportations companies, and a wide variety of Vendors
Maintain a scheduling system for appointment times for loading and unloading of all trucks including internal transfers
Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments. Immediately escalate any deviations to the shipments to the Traffic Supervisor
Print and organize BOL’s for outgoing shipments
Communicate load and tracking information to customers
Contact carriers to schedule pick ups and deliveries
Create foreign shipment documents
Receive inventory into ERP system
Track shipments from vendors and communicate potential late material to Sales / Production
Work cross functionally to expedite any material shortages with procurement, receiving, quality, and other production areas
Track Import and Export of raw material and finished product
Prepare and maintain a variety of reports, documents and spreadsheets
Prepare for, conduct and assist in reconciliation of inventory counts
Prepare Sales Order, Transfer Movements, and Transfer Pick tickets for external and internal Primal Customers and Vendors
Prepared all Pallet tags documents for Sales Orders
Pick/Register Sales Orders and Transfers
Verify all receiving documents prior to forwarding top AR/AP
Log and prepare all temperature monitors for specified customers
Verify all inbound and outbound appointments. Communicate with all carriers when not adhering to schedules and established timelines for appointment scheduling
Verify and bundle all applicable documents for Sales Orders and Transfers prior to forwarding to AR
Prepared and record all small package orders
Cycle count products and assist in maintaining an accurate inventory
Assist in loading and offloading of trucks if necessary
Be professional on the phone while talking with Customers and distribution centers
Provides tactical and solution driven support during customer escalations
Maintain a balance between company policy and client benefit in decision making
Pay attention to details and be resilient in taking care of customer needs
Build customer relationships, earning their loyalty and trust
Type memos, correspondence, reports and other documents
Assists Customer Operations and Supply Chain in all areas of order fulfillment to meet product delivery timeframes
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience
1 year of experience in Logistics or relevant Supply Chain function
Average typing speed of 50+ WPM with minimal error
Proficient in MS Office Suite, with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to prioritize and follow-through to achieve results and meet deadlines for the needs of the business
Ability to remain composed in stressful situations
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently sit, walk, stand, and use dominant hand coordination for simple grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine manipulation. The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include frequent reading and close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
