The VP Technology is the leader for Benefit’s technology plans, translating business needs into a technology strategy. The primary responsibility of this role is to understand Benefit’s business goals, strategies, and priorities, and build a technology plan to support and even accelerate the business. This role will function as a connector between Benefit Cosmetics and LVMH Beauty Tech, ensuring unique business needs are supported by technology, while also providing Benefit teams visibility to LVMH technology solutions and priorities. This role is expected to share and advocate for Benefit Cosmetics IT needs to deliver on company commitments, while understanding Beauty Tech priorities.

What You’ll Do:

Act as the IT Lead for Benefit

  • Understand the context, ambitions, and business stakes of Benefit to define priorities and the must-win battles in the corporate and retail spaces.
  • Be the advocate of Benefit within the different decision instances of Beauty Tech (HQ and/or Regions), to ensure the priorities for Benefit are understood and considered.
  • Be Benefit’s post-sale point of contact, taking charge of the whole “demand-to-invoice” journey for contracted services with a continuous improvement mindset:
    • Work closely with Benefit’s stakeholders, capture their demands, prioritize based on Benefit’s long-term plan
    • Understand customer and retail pain-points and propose alternatives
    • Develop and perform surveys to get the feedback from Benefit
  • Advocate for Benefit overall, and influence changes in ways of working to build efficiency and synergy between Benefit and Beauty Tech.

As a key contributor to LVMH Beauty Tech’s IS/IT roadmap

  • Promote the relevant services, based on proposed Beauty Tech catalog of services:
    • Act as a champion of the services appropriate for Benefit and help the Maison understand their values
Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience in technology, particularly in managing large-scale transformation programs and projects in corporations or consulting companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree computer science, information systems, or related field. Equivalent experience may be accepted.
  • Proven track-record of leadership; can "sell" your ideas and is results and action-oriented.
  • Good knowledge of the Beauty sector (including skincare, fragrances, and cosmetics), luxury, pharmaceuticals, or consumer products.

Schedule:

  • Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly

The target salary range for this position is $225,000-$285,000 annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
