Responsibilities
Develops and implements strategic account plans for one or more named strategic accounts.
Manages one or more Regional Business Development Managers who support the named Global Accounts.
Negotiates with stakeholders to identify and map business strengths and customer needs
Researches business opportunities and viable income streams based on industry trends locally and internationally
Reviews contracts to ensure they align with corporate goals, and policies
Reports on successes and areas needing improvements
Works with clients to create solutions for their needs and consults throughout the sales process
Identifies, qualifies, and secures business opportunities Coordinates business generation activities
Achieves assigned quota targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
Develops customized targeted sales strategies
Creates informative presentations
Presents and delivers information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
Closes sales and works with clients through the closing process
Collaborates with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting
Maintains short- and long-term business development plans

Experience
15+ years working in Business Development or other Sales capacity or a combination of education and experience
Skills
Experience with lead generation and prospect management Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers Persuasive and goal-oriented
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor Demonstrated and proven sales results
Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team Stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to negotiate Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy

Ability to self-motivate and to motivate a team Experience working to and exceeding targets
Education, Certifications, Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Economics, Finance, Health Sciences or other related field- Required
Master’s degree in Business Development, Economics, Finance, Health Sciences or other related field- Preferred
