Position at SBM Management

The Software Engineer Vice President will oversee and coordinate activities of engineering projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for software development and delivery at 4insite
  • Create an engineering culture that supports innovation and creativity while delivering a high volume of products in a predictable and reliable way
  • Ensure engineering excellence and rigor in execution and delivery.
  • Build organizational capability within teams by recruiting and retaining outstanding talent and providing mentoring, training (internal and external), and other opportunities for professional growth and development
  • Foster and facilitate the professional growth and development of our engineering staff as well as lead effective cross-functional collaboration across groups within the organization
  • Document the plans and target dates of the Engineering department, collaborating with senior management to drive success on all deliverable dates
  • Drive the overall SDLC for planning, team assignment, and delivery of 4insite features
  • Improve and mature the SDLC and ensure that quality standards are met and consistent

Qualifications

Education and/ or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a College or University or 5+ years related project experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Serves as a coach and mentor for employees within division.

Compensation: $175,000 per year
