VP, RTP Product Mgmt & Planning

Position Summary: The RTP Product Management & Planning position is responsible for the activities of teams who work directly with product groups and customers to understand the market problems. This role ensures that our products are developed in alignment with TCH's overarching product strategy. The position leads product design, modifications, and manages the activities of products within the TCH product family. Their involvement spans all stages of a product's lifecycle, from inception and planning to maintenance and end-of-life decisions.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in product, technology, and delivery related fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Knowledge of Pragmatic framework and agile methodologies.
  • Works on unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
  • Exercises independent judgment in selecting techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
  • Able to define system and functional requirements.
  • Able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.
  • Develop high-level estimates for product delivery to include resource needs, cost and timelines.
  • Experience in vendor selection reviews, solutions assessments and creating scorecards metrics.
  • Collaborate with legal and risk teams for product development activities.
  • Superior project management knowledge and abilities.
  • Knowledge of research procedures concerning development of new technologies.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Foster a first-line risk mindset integrating rigorous risk assessment and mitigation strategies into all stages of product development.
  • Designs, modifies and manages activities for a specific product or feature from product definition and planning through production and release.
  • Oversees work that is done in conjunction with cross functional teams to complete product technical design and prototyping, operational and support processes.
  • Tracks statistics of product adoption and translates feedback into enhancement recommendations.
  • Ensures a smooth turnover to the implementation or support organizations that includes planning, training and hand off.
  • Establishes strong relationships with financial institutions, their customers, and other TCH stakeholders.
  • Support the creation and maintains of the product vision/roadmap.
  • Participates in the rollout of marketing plans/campaigns.
  • Creates alpha and beta program definition and coordinates execution.
  • Creates standard demonstrations and participation in customer and industry presentations.
  • Provides training to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Promotes investigation and application of new technologies and industry trends to product management activities.
  • Ensures that products meet specifications and quality goals.
  • Assist less experienced peers and take on team leadership roles.

Physical demands and work environment: The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Travel may be required. Candidates will report to the office two to three days each week.

The anticipated salary range for this position for NY-based candidates is $150,000 - $210,000. Base salary will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
