We are looking for a bright VP Revenue Life Sciences & US Country Manager to join our Life Science team based in Cambridge

As a VP Revenue Life Sciences & US Country Manager, you will be responsible for driving the overall commercial strategy and revenue growth for N-SIDE LS clinical trial supply management solutions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director Life Science, the VP Revenue will play a pivotal role in shaping N-SIDE LS market positioning, expanding its customer base, and maximizing sales opportunities.

Additionally, the VP Revenue will serve as the Country Manager of our US office, overseeing operations and driving growth in the North American market.

This executive leadership position requires a proven track record in both marketing and sales of B2B niche softwares and in international business management, with preferably an experience in the clinical trial or healthcare industry.

What you'll do:

  • Life Sciences Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to ensure the roll-out of a successful account-based marketing, supporting sales efforts. Collaborate with product development and management teams to align marketing and sales strategies with the evolving needs of the clinical trial supply industry.
  • Team Leadership: Build and nurture a high-performing commercial team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize individual and collective performance. Lead the commercial team through change, putting the right oversight and governance in place and ensuring good reporting and CRM usage. Ensure alignment among the different delivery teams (Sales, Tech Sales, CSMs and Marketing).
  • Sales & Revenue generation : Have the final accountability to ensure revenue performance vs projections, both on New and Existing accounts. Lead the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with pharmaceutical companies and closing opportunities to achieve new sales targets. Similarly, lead the sales team in maximizing growth on existing accounts, in collaboration with the CSM team.
  • Reporting & Budget Management : Monitor and report the KPIs for sales and marketing and on market dynamics to the Steerco, the MD LS and other stakeholders. Regularly evaluate and optimize strategies to maximize ROI and drive continuous improvement of our marketing and sales initiatives. Efficiently manage the commercial budget, allocating resources to initiatives that deliver maximum impact.
  • Industry Positioning: Define and strengthen our position as a leader in optimization for clinical trials supply, crafting targeted messaging and campaigns to resonate with our audience. Define and execute the Go-to-Market strategy of new services and products.
  • Product Marketing: Collaborate closely with product teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new solutions, ensuring alignment with industry needs and market trends.
  • As Country Manager of the US office: be the dotted line manager of other services (out of Revenue) and be the face of N-SIDE in the US.

About you:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field with an affinity for science, mathematics & technology
  • Proven track record (10-15 years) of success in senior leadership roles within the B2B niche software companies, with a focus on both marketing and sales functions and with demonstrated success in driving growth
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of leading and developing high-performing commercial teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional departments
  • Experience managing US and international operations, with a strong understanding of both American and global markets as well as cultural dynamics. Experience in close collaboration with a European-based team is a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing effective B2B marketing strategies, including ABM, content marketing, and partnership development within niche markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial software solutions: Forecasting and planning systems, IRT,electronic data capture (EDC) systems, and related technologies is an asset, as is a strong understanding of clinical trials and/or clinical supply chain
  • Your vibrant energy is not just a personal trait but a catalyst that ignites enthusiasm among both colleagues and clients
  • Experience in pricing is an asset
  • Fluent in English at a native level
  • Willing and able to travel quite extensively (see below)

Travel:

  • 30-50% of travel time : 1 week a month in Europe after onboarding + a few travels to APAC per year + potential domestic travels when needed
  • Between 3-6 months of onboarding in HQ Belgium at the start
