Job Objective:

The Vice President, Field Solutions will lead a team responsible for the successful deployment and ongoing servicing of in-store shopper marketing / digital media networks managed on behalf of our clients leading retail and wellness services customers.


What You'll Do

Deployment

  • Serve as the customer-facing lead on project teams, participating in the definition and development of digital media solutions.
  • Manage relationships and oversee contracts with installation vendors.
  • Work with project teams to understand the deployment scope for each opportunity.
  • Oversee the creation of project Statements of Work (SOWs) and related installation guides.
  • Manage deployment project schedules.
  • Create customer reporting as required.
  • Refine and evolve deployment processes to optimize success for both the company and its clients.


Field Services

  • Work with the team to develop overall field service plans for digital media networks.
  • Manage relationships and oversee contracts with field service providers.
  • Collaborate with network operations and support teams to develop seamless workflows from support to field service.
  • Create customer reporting as required.
  • Track trends and provide feedback to product management and account teams as needed.


Asset Management/Finance

  • Work with sales engineers to develop bills of materials for each deployment or service opportunity.
  • Manage relationships with key equipment suppliers.
  • Oversee hardware purchasing, prioritizing best value for both the company and its clients.
  • Manage asset intake and deployment through a leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Oversee warehouse staff activities, including configuring, kitting, and shipping materials to meet deployment and field service needs.
  • Provide all necessary reporting to finance for asset tracking and invoicing.
  • Oversee both company-owned and customer-owned inventory.


Employee Management

  • Train, coach, and performance manage teams within the function, mentoring individuals in related functions.
  • Establish internal processes to foster professional growth and capability development, creating a high-performing organization.


Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Engage closely with Engineering, Support, Finance, IT, HR, and other departments to deliver on objectives, garner support for programs, and coordinate cross-functional execution of initiatives in support of client commitments.


Who You Are/What You Have Done/Essential To The Role

  • Minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in similar operational leadership roles.
  • Retail + instore shopping expert
  • Experience in process development and operation
  • Proven ability to manage diverse, remote teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Experience in process development and optimization.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key customers.
  • Strategic thinking with strong character and integrity.
  • Proficiency in common office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and web-based systems.
  • Experience with leading ERP and Support Ticketing Systems (e.g., NetSuite, ServiceNow).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ideally Dayton Ohio, or Cincinnati Ohio * open to remote placement for the right candidate
