What You'll Do

As the Vice President of Product Design, you will report to the SVP ,Product Management . You will lead and manage an organization of user researchers, user experience designers, and documentation writers to deliver high-quality designs across our products. You will work in a matrix environment to understand customer needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop design strategies that inspire.

To be successful you should have a background in design, user experience, and team leadership background. You can demonstrate experience designing and launching multiple products that have delivered exceptional user experiences and achieved our goals.

What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Manage, and hire a team of design and documentation managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
  • Develop and implement design strategies and best-in-class processes that align with and ensure our goals.
  • Guide our user research to gain insights into customer needs, behaviors, and pain points, and use this information to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
  • Create and maintain design systems and guidelines that ensure consistency and usability across all products. Manage the content design team to ensure all written and visual content is user-focused and aligned with the brand's voice and tone.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data analysts, to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our products.
  • Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to launch, and ensure that all designs are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze user feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and improve user experiences.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in design, user experience, and technology, and ensure that our team constantly improving and evolving skills and knowledge.
  • Create company-wide understanding to support product vision and strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide focus to the strategy team leads to deliver disruptive, engaging designs that delight customers.
  • Work daily with business leaders and adjacent departments to develop compelling strategies, business cases, product demos.and ensure the product roadmap and projects meet expectations regarding requirements, timelines, and budget.
  • Drive and support overall product portfolio and go-to-market strategy.
  • Inspire and lead the product team to internalize the voice of the customer.
  • Work with the development team lead to oversee the delivery of products that collect and display high-quality, action-oriented insights to the end-user thoughtful .
  • Effectively communicate company vision team cross-functional teams in a way that enables operational execution, collaboration, and understanding on broader strategy, including complex multi-team/diverse projects.


About The Team

  • 15+ years of building and implementing designs and documentation for diverse projects in high-growth, B2B, SaaS, cloud, and technology industries supporting a global customer base.
  • 10+ years of experience managing a geographically distributed organization across culturally diverse teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with bringing new cloud product offerings to market and enhancing large product portfolios.
  • Demonstrated ability of forming successful cross-functional relationships and influencing others to achieve a common goal, including our customers.
  • History of oral and written communications with experience presenting ideas and information across all levels of an organization.
