What You’ll Be Doing

Nuvation Bio is seeking a VP of Pharmacovigilance to lead and oversee day to day safetymonitoring activities and operations of clinical trials. You will be responsible for…

  • Develop, implement, and ensure maintenance of operational processes and safety management plans.
  • Facilitate cross-functional Safety Review Committee meetings; include coordinating materials, data presentation and agenda.
  • Review and provide PV input for development of protocols and relevant study documents.
  • Participate in writing aggregate safety reports.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and input for regulatory submissions and responses, collaborating with cross-functional areas as appropriate.
  • Establish the PV operation and risk management framework, system and activities to comply with company policies and fulfill regulatory authorities’ requirements, and reach the target of mitigating risk.
  • Establish PV operation capability in safety data processing and in patient safety risk management, provide support for drug safety monitoring and CRO management.

What Knowledge & Experience You'll Bring To Us...

  • MD with 10+ years of pharmacovigilance working experience in a pharmaceutical company, PV operation and PV risk management preferred
  • Oncology experience required with experience in lung cancer preferred.
  • Experience building global pharmacovigilance teams required
  • Deep understanding of regulations, knowledge and practices required for pharmacovigilance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with others at all levels and within all departments.
  • Candidates located in San Francisco Bay area or New York City metro area strongly preferred

The pay range for this position is $355,000 to $390,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location among other factors. Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
