About The Role
EliseAI is looking for a VP of Strategic Finance to work closely with our CFO to drive the financial strategy and operations of the company. You will play a key role in strategic decision-making, managing investor relations, and ensuring the financial health and integrity of the company. As a fast-growing business, there will be ample opportunities to lead special projects, which will enable you to expand your expertise and skill set across different products and business lines.
Key Responsibilities
Manage company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to influence business direction, operational support, and investment decisions.
Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Assist with fundraising, investor relations, and board management.
Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, including ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718, income tax, and sales and use tax.
Manage and cultivate relationships with external auditors, banks, and other institutions.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes and systems, internal controls, and risk management processes.
Evaluate and assess new initiatives, growing and scaling the Finance team with the Company.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
CPA and/or MBA additive, but not required
3+ years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in the software/AI industry.
Background in investment banking, private equity, and/or venture capital additive, but not required.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities to solve problems and achieve results with minimal direction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial planning, and forecasting,
Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills.
Demonstrated experience with successful audit completion.
Experience with financial systems and accounting software.

Job Compensation Range
The salary range for this role is $240,000-300,000 EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
