Job Description:

Position Overview: As the Vice President of Sales, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company's sales strategy, driving market expansion, and achieving ambitious revenue goals. You will oversee the entire sales organization, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and lead initiatives to capitalize on emerging market opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the growth trajectory of a pioneering company in EV battery technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy that aligns with the company's vision and market dynamics. Set clear goals and objectives for the sales team.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Market Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities in both domestic and international markets. Build strategic partnerships with OEMs, suppliers, and other key industry players.
  • Customer Engagement: Establish and deepen relationships with major customers. Understand their needs and deliver customized solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive initiatives to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Monitor sales performance, analyze metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and technologies. Communicate the value proposition and competitive advantages effectively to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to the executive leadership. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in a senior sales leadership role within the EV battery technology or related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of the EV industry, battery technology, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into effective sales strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and partners.

Salary:

  • $200,000 - $250,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses.
