Our client is a multi-billion dollar corporation focused on publishing and educational products. They are seeking a seasoned Sales executive to lead a 300+ person sales org and implement new strategies to drive revenue growth in the U.S.


Job Title: VP of Sales


Location: Remote – ET hours preferred. Must be in United States and eligible to work for any U.S. Employer to be considered.


Required Skills

  • 20+ years of professional sales experience, with demonstrated experience leading large sales organizations (>100+ People) through periods of transformation and driving in hundreds of millions in annual revenue
  • Strong leadership skills and experience being in highly visible role within a sales organization
  • Expertise in B2B / B2B2C sales models
  • Experience building a sales culture: hiring, setting KPIs, implementing best practices, etc.
  • Experience implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Experience working in executive leadership and working with and presenting to C-level stakeholders
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
  • Experience monitoring market trends, competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks, and reporting on sales performance for senior leadership
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in media, publishing, tech, education or similar fields


Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 (Based on experience & level), plus bonus, stock, long-term incentive. Expected OTE in $600,000-$700,000 range.
