Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP of Sales to lead and expand our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS sales, particularly within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, and will be responsible for driving revenue growth, meeting sales quotas, developing strategic sales plans, and building a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
    • Collaborating with the Marketing and Sales teams, define and manage HubSpot CRM processes and sales sequences
    • Create go-to-market strategies alongside the Direct and Reseller channels
    • Identify new market opportunities and define sales tactics to capture them
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with business objectives
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
    • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching
    • Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement
  • Pipeline Management:
    • Oversee the development and management of sales pipelines to ensure a steady flow of new business opportunities
    • Implement effective CRM practices to track and report on sales activities and progress
    • Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of sales performance
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
    • Understand customer needs and provide solutions that deliver value and drive customer satisfaction
    • Represent Orchestry at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to provide timeline feedback on lead quality and ensure alignment with organizational strategies
    • Provide market feedback to product development teams to help shape future offerings
    • Communicate sales insights and performance metrics to senior leadership
  • Quota Management:
    • Be in charge of the overall sales quotas for both Direct and Reseller channels
    • Ensure that sales efforts align with the organization's strategic goals

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
    • Experience with both Direct (outbound, inbound sales) as well as Reseller sales
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
    • Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and related technologies
    • HubSpot CRM experience is a bonus
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills
    • Swiftly adapt to new technologies and SaaS solutions to enhance sales efforts effectively, maintaining a technology-forward approach
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
