Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Business Development - Lead a regional sales team, ensuring they achieve ambitious sales targets while fostering strong relationships with customers and sales representatives. Manage travel logistics to support these goals.
Estimating - Lead a high-performing estimating team to consistently deliver accurate bids on time, maximizing our win rate.
Detailing - Optimize the detailing team's workflow to maximize their output while maintaining high accuracy and timely delivery.
Engineering - Empower our in-house engineering team by providing comprehensive support during their meticulous job calculations for new and existing customers.
Project Management - Function as a right-hand to the project manager, readily available to address customer needs at any stage of the project.
Meticulous contract review - Assist in proactive review and negotiation of contracts at each step of the sales process ensuring all contracts align with the company terms and customer needs.
Communication is Key - Provide ongoing feedback from customers and generate reports for all business trips and events. Facilitate communication between the sales team and internal departments.
Best Practices- Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures.
Drive Growth– Contribute to the development of data-driven sales plans through close collaboration with top management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS And ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience. Experience managing and working in manufacturing. Experience presenting business and technical information to customers. Previous work in structural steel, and/or electric utility industry a plus.
