VP of Product Quality Assurance

The Vice President of Product Quality Assurance will oversee the end-to-end quality testing of voice, video, and broadband services at our service provider company. This position will be responsible for creating and implementing robust processes and methodologies for validating products, developing comprehensive test plans, and maintaining automated test platforms. Additionally, the VP of Product Quality Assurance will collaborate with customer care organizations to establish a customer-centric testing framework.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Lead the quality assurance team in testing voice, video, and broadband products to ensure high standards of quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Design, build, maintain and sustain the test and integration lab.
• Develop and implement processes and methodologies for effective product validation.
• Create detailed test plans and strategies to validate product quality.
• Design and maintain automated test platforms to streamline testing procedures.
• Collaborate with customer care organizations to understand customer experience and product performance.
• Utilize AI and ML technologies to enhance operational efficiency and optimize the Product Quality Assurance process.
• Drive continuous improvement in product quality standards.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and report on quality, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with customer care and operations to understand customer experience and product performance.
• Lead a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement in product quality standards
• Drive initiatives to continuously enhance and improve quality standards by aligning across the organization including Engineering, Network, Operations and Customer Care
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of professional experience in product quality assurance.
• Relevant experience in a technical procurement role preferably in Telecommunications or a related industry
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain complete confidentiality.
• Ability to work cooperatively and as a member of a team and display interpersonal awareness.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Outlook) with Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in USRC.
• Experience with Salesforce, Sitetracker, or Dynamics 365 a plus
