The Zero-G Team is composed of highly talented individuals scattered from coast-to-coast, who work remotely or travel with the Zero-G aircraft. About The Position

The Zero-G team is looking for a Vice President of Operations to manage the daily operations of the company. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the growth and strategic direction of the brand. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to expand market presence, identifying new opportunities, and fostering relationships that contribute to the company’s overall growth and success. This person will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the company’s long-term vision and drive sustainable growth. You’ll strive to continually improve guest satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the company. This is a remote position with extensive travel required (50% or greater).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a relevant senior management role
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, strategy, and leadership.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive forces.
  • Ability to influence and effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions.
  • Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence in customer service.
  • A high degree of professionalism with diplomatic and poised communication at all levels and the ability to manage confidential information with complete discretion.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning, regulatory issues, and business development
  • Experience in leading teams and promoting healthy company culture
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and Google Workspace
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operations, strategy, and hiring levels
  • Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
  • Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met
  • Provide in person management and supervision of all flight activities
  • Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention of employees
  • Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement, improvement, or cost reduction, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts as needed
  • Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short and long-term objectives developed in tandem with CEO
  • Oversee operations, HR, accounting, and partner with CEO in sales management so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets
  • Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Identify and implement new operational initiatives to support business growth and innovation.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Implement and oversee robust safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
  • Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and financial performance.
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to drive performance improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Ensure a world-class customer experience by continuously improving operational processes and addressing customer feedback.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align operations with customer expectations and market demands.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in luxury travel (aviation, hospitality, or space tourism)
  • Experience in private aircraft or yacht charter operations
  • Minimum 10 years of management experience
