Core Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage effective sales strategies and initiatives
- Lead the sales team at all levels companywide to achieve set, achieve and exceed sales goals and objectives nationwide
- Establish, cultivate and maintain productive and professional business relationships with key personnel in current and prospective customer accounts
- Negotiate and close national service agreements with customers, both commercial and residential accounts
- Closely monitor, analyze and report on performance data and metrics
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
- Perform market research and identify new potential customers, new market opportunities and recruitment prospects
- Supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships
- Develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
- Liaise and collaborate with the with the marketing, training and development and other relevant departments companywide to ensure brand and product/service uniformity
- Stay current with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
- Proven work experience and track record as a National Sales Director
- Experience managing a top performing sale team
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
- Solid interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude with excellent negotiation skills
- Strong and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Team building and management skills
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Availability to travel as position will require such
- BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
- Innovation and creativity
- Keen knowledge of general sales processes and procedures to assist with business growth
- BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in sales, business administration or relevant field
- Previously management experience
- Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets
