Core Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage effective sales strategies and initiatives
Lead the sales team at all levels companywide to achieve set, achieve and exceed sales goals and objectives nationwide
Establish, cultivate and maintain productive and professional business relationships with key personnel in current and prospective customer accounts
Negotiate and close national service agreements with customers, both commercial and residential accounts
Closely monitor, analyze and report on performance data and metrics
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
Perform market research and identify new potential customers, new market opportunities and recruitment prospects
Supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships
Develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers
Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
Liaise and collaborate with the with the marketing, training and development and other relevant departments companywide to ensure brand and product/service uniformity
Stay current with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
Required Skills and Competencies:
Proven work experience and track record as a National Sales Director
Experience managing a top performing sale team
An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
Solid interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude with excellent negotiation skills
Strong and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Team building and management skills
Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
Availability to travel as position will require such
BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
Innovation and creativity
Keen knowledge of general sales processes and procedures to assist with business growth
Experience Requirements and other Qualifications:
BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field, preferred
Bachelor’s degree or greater in sales, business administration or relevant field
Previously management experience
Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets
