As the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for building a lifecycle marketing engine. From demand generation to retention, we’re looking for a performance marketing superstar. Optimize our channels and spend, create fun drip campaigns and establish PR objectives as we ramp up our brand.


We are looking for a leader that is a doer. The ideal candidate will be data-driven and analytical, with strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across teams. You will be working with a small team of savvy marketers and responsible for expanding the core team setting the foundation and explosive growth we are expediting from our marketing team for years to come.


This is an exciting opportunity to help expand our footprint across new channels and scale quickly. You will report to the President, and work closely with marketing, product marketing, CS and content teams.


Responsibilities

  • Develop a full-funnel lead generation engine to drive the pipeline
  • Lead the marketing department to maximize spend and performance across the marketing mix
  • Proficiency designing, launching, testing, and optimizing paid media campaigns, including paid social, SEM, display, and retargeting
  • Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing email nurture programs
  • Set KPIs and key metrics for all campaigns, creating dashboards to measure and track performance
  • Develop a Solid lead scoring system
  • Launch and maintain lead nurturing programs to accelerate prospect movement through the funnel
  • Implement a scalable ABM program to improve win rate and AOV with high value named accounts
  • Regularly report on key metrics including: lead volume (e.g. MQLs/SQLs), pipeline, revenue and bookings attribution, funnel velocity
  • Relentlessly test and optimize campaigns, refine processes and systems, and implement best practices to operations


Requirements

  • Experience working with higher education SaaS in based businesses that run advertising
  • At least 10-12 years of experience developing and executing growth marketing programs in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency working in marketing automation platforms and with marketing tools including Marketo and/or Pardot and Salesforce, Looker, Google Analytics.
  • Experience managing campaigns from inception to completion and measurement
  • Strong knowledge of demand generation best practices across inbound, outbound, and ABM
  • Strategic thinker who can set realistic targets and plan complex, targeted campaigns across channels
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
